Getting started with Hands N Paws is designed to feel simple, personalized, and stress-free from beginning to end 🐾
Here’s what the process looks like:
Step 1: Schedule Your Meet N Greet
Your journey with Hands N Paws begins by scheduling a Meet N Greet.
This is a one-on-one onboarding meeting with a Hands N Paws client support representative where we’ll:
- Learn about your pets and routines
- Talk through your care needs
- Walk you through how our services work
- Answer questions
- Discuss scheduling, home access, and expectations
Our goal is to make sure you feel fully comfortable and supported before services begin.

Step 2: Receive Your Welcome Email
After your Meet N Greet, you’ll receive a welcome email from our team outlining the next steps.
Inside that email, you’ll find instructions for:
- Accessing your client account
- Completing your personal and home access information
- Adding pet details
- Setting up payment information
Once your account is complete, you’re officially ready to begin requesting pet care services anytime you need them!
Step 3: Request Services Anytime
When you need pet care, simply log into your client account and submit a service request.
You’ll be able to:
- Choose visit dates
- Select visit lengths
- Pick arrival windows
- Add visit-specific instructions or updates
Once submitted, our team reviews the request and assigns trusted Hands N Paws caregivers based on availability.
You’ll then receive a confirmation with all scheduled visit details.
Step 4: Our Team Cares for Your Pets
When service day arrives, your assigned caregiver(s) will arrive during the scheduled arrival window and care for your pets based on the routines and instructions provided in your account.
Visits may include:
- Walks and potty breaks
- Feeding and fresh water
- Playtime and enrichment
- Medication administration
- Litter scooping
- Snuggles and companionship
- Basic home care tasks
Step 5: Stay Updated Throughout the Visit
We know how important peace of mind is while you’re away from your pets.
That’s why our system automatically keeps you updated throughout each service.
You’ll receive notifications from our app (Precise Petcare) when:
- Your caregiver is on the way
- Your caregiver has arrived
- Your visit has been completed
Once the visit ends, your caregiver will immediately send a detailed Pet Care Journal through your client account.
Step 6: Receive Your Pet Care Journal
After every completed service, you’ll receive a Pet Care Journal filled with updates from the visit.
Journals may include:
- Photos and videos
- Potty updates
- Feeding confirmations
- Walk summaries
- Behavioral observations
- Sweet moments and visit highlights
