Every new Hands N Paws client begins with a Meet N Greet.

This complimentary 15-minute virtual onboarding session gives us an opportunity to learn about your pets, understand your care needs, answer questions, and make sure everyone feels comfortable before services begin.

Our goal is simple: set you, your pets, and our team up for success from day one.

What Is a Meet N Greet?

A Meet N Greet is a required onboarding appointment for all new Hands N Paws clients.

During this meeting, we’ll:

  • Learn about your pets, routines, and preferences
  • Discuss your service needs
  • Explain how our care model works
  • Walk through what to expect as a client
  • Answer any questions you may have

By the end of the meeting, you’ll have a clear understanding of how Hands N Paws operates and what the next steps look like.

How Do I Schedule a Meet N Greet?

Scheduling a Meet N Greet is easy.

Simply click any of the Get Started buttons throughout our website. You’ll be taken to our scheduling page where you can select a date and time for your 15-minute virtual onboarding session.

As part of the scheduling process, you’ll complete a brief questionnaire that helps us learn more about your pets, home, and care needs before we meet.

Once scheduled, you’ll receive a confirmation email containing:

  • Your meeting details
  • A link to join the meeting
  • Links to cancel or reschedule if needed

You’ll also receive reminder emails as your appointment approaches.

Who Will I Meet With?

Your Meet N Greet is conducted by Benny, the owner of Hands N Paws.

During your one-on-one meeting, Benny will take the time to learn about your pets, discuss your needs, explain how our care model works, and answer any questions you may have.

This meeting is designed to ensure we’re a great fit for one another and that you feel confident moving forward with services.

What Happens During the Meet N Greet?

During the meeting, we’ll review the information you submitted when scheduling your appointment to make sure we’re aligned on all the important details.

We’ll also spend time discussing:

  • Your pets and their routines
  • Your service needs
  • Scheduling expectations
  • Home access considerations
  • Any unique care instructions or concerns

This is also a great opportunity to ask questions and learn more about how Hands N Paws operates.

By the end of the meeting, you’ll have a clear understanding of how services work and what the next steps look like.

How Should I Prepare?

Is the Meet N Greet Required?

Yes.

All new clients must complete a Meet N Greet before services can begin.

This helps ensure we’re aligned on expectations, routines, home access, and care needs before a team member enters your home. It also gives you an opportunity to ask questions and determine whether Hands N Paws is the right fit for you and your pets.

Do My Pets Need to Be Present?

No.

Because Meet N Greets are conducted virtually, your pets do not need to participate in the meeting.

That said, if they’re nearby and you’d like to introduce them on camera, we’d love to say hello 🐾

What Happens After the Meet N Greet?

After your Meet N Greet, Benny will send you a Welcome Email outlining your next steps.

Inside that email, you’ll find instructions for:

  • Accessing your Hands N Paws client account
  • Completing your pet and home information
  • Adding payment information
  • Requesting services

Once your account setup is complete, you’re officially ready to begin scheduling pet care services.

What If I Need to Cancel or Reschedule?

No problem.

When you schedule your Meet N Greet, you’ll receive a confirmation email containing links to both cancel and reschedule your appointment.

If something comes up, simply use those links to select a new time that works better for you.

Do I Ever Need Another Meet N Greet?

In most cases, no.

As long as your pet and home information remain updated in your client account, additional Meet N Greets are typically unnecessary.

If something significant changes—such as:

  • Adding a new pet
  • Moving to a new home
  • Major behavioral changes
  • Significant changes to your pet’s care needs

Often, simply updating your account information is enough to keep our team informed and providing seamless care.

If an additional Meet N Greet is needed, the cost is $75 per meeting.
