Navigating the Hands N Paws App

Once you’re logged in, the app is your central hub for everything related to your pet’s care with Hands N Paws.

Below is a breakdown of each section so you always know exactly where to go and what each tab is used for.

Dashboard

Your overview page.

The Dashboard gives you a snapshot of everything happening in your account, including:

  • Recent pet care journals
  • Notifications (highlighted in yellow)
  • Upcoming and past services
  • Invoices and billing activity
  • General account updates

If you’re ever unsure where to start, this is a great place to check first.

Schedule

This is where you’ll manage all of your pet care services.

From the Schedule tab, you can:

  • Request new services
  • View upcoming visits
  • Modify or cancel existing services
  • View pet care journals after visits are completed
  • Add notes to specific service visits for your sitter

This is one of the most frequently used sections of the app and acts as your main scheduling hub.

Profile (Personal & Home Info)

This section is all about you and your home setup.

On the Profile tab, you can update:

  • Basic contact details (name, phone number, address)
  • Additional/emergency contacts
  • Home access and entry instructions
  • Detailed home information, including:
    • Yard or fence details
    • Trash and recycling days
    • Pet waste disposal location
    • Location of cleaning supplies
    • Any additional home notes

The more complete this section is, the smoother and safer your service experience will be.

Pets

In the Pets tab, this is where your pet’s full care profile goes.

We gather detailed information to ensure the highest level of personalized care, including:

  • Basic details (name, breed, age, type)
  • Personality and temperament
  • Potty routine
  • Food and water routine
  • Walk routine

At the bottom, you’ll also find medical information, including:

  • Vaccination records
  • Medical conditions
  • Medications and instructions

Messages

Under Messages is where you can communicate directly with the Hands N Paws support team.

You can:

  • Send messages
  • Receive updates or responses
  • Keep all communication organized in one place

We aim to respond as quickly as possible during business hours 😊

Billing

All billing-related information lives under Billing.

Here, you can:

  • View invoices for completed services
  • Add or update your card on file

Billing is designed to be hands-off as long as you have a valid card on file. Learn more here.

Pay Now

This is a tab you typically won’t need to use.

The main reason to visit this tab would be:

  • To leave a tip on an invoice (learn more here)

Otherwise, all payments are handled automatically through your billing settings.

Photos

All of your pet’s moments, all in one place 🐶💜

The Photos tab stores every photo we’ve ever sent through pet care journals, making it easy to revisit them anytime.

Account

Account is where you can locate general settings.

Here you can:

  • Upload or update your profile photo
  • View your signed policy agreement
  • Update your email address
  • Change your password

Helpful Tips

  • Always click Save when making updates—changes won’t save automatically
  • Keeping your Profile and Pets sections updated helps us provide the best care possible
  • Your account can also be accessed via desktop using the web portal
