Preparing for Your Meet N Greet

Thanks for scheduling your Meet N Greet! We’re excited to connect with you and learn more about your pets.

Your Meet N Greet is a 15-minute onboarding conversation with Benny, the owner of Hands N Paws. During this time, we’ll make sure we’re a great fit for one another and walk through exactly how our care model works.

Here’s what we’ll cover together:

Reviewing Your Pre-Screening Form

We’ll begin by walking through the information you submitted to make sure we’re aligned on:

• Service needs
• Scheduling expectations
• Behavioral considerations
• Any “hot buttons” or special circumstances

This helps us eliminate surprises and start with clarity.

Talking Through Your Pets

We’ll then dive deeper into:

• Daily routines
• Feeding and medication
• Personality traits
• Comfort levels with new people
• Anything unique we should know

This is your space to share details that help us provide truly personalized care.

Your Client Account Walkthrough

We’ll explain how your official Hands N Paws client account works.

This is where you’ll:

• Store personal and home details
• Add pet information
• Upload care instructions
• Save billing information
• Request services whenever needed

After our meeting, you’ll receive a Welcome Email with your login details so you can begin filling everything out.

💜 How We Provide Peace of Mind

At Hands N Paws, our mission is simple: give you peace of mind.

After every scheduled visit, you’ll receive a detailed journal update including:

• Photos of your pet
• A written summary of the visit
• Potty and feeding confirmations
• Behavioral notes
• Any concerns or observations

You’ll always know exactly how your pet is doing.

No guessing. No wondering.

Just consistent, thoughtful communication.

Other Important Things to Be Prepared For

To ensure we’re aligned, please review the following before our call:

Understanding Our Care Model

Hands N Paws offers flexible, structured in-home care — but we do not provide 24-hour continuous stay services.

Here’s how our care works:

Overnight Services

Our overnight care is structured as a sleepover.

A caregiver arrives in the evening and leaves in the morning. It is not 24-hour supervision.

If you are specifically seeking round-the-clock, continuous presence in your home, we may not be the right fit.

Drop-In Visits

We offer fully customizable drop-in visits throughout the day, earliest of 6 AM and latest of 11 PM.

Available visit lengths:

• 20 minutes
• 30 minutes
• 45 minutes
• 60 minutes

During that time, we can provide whatever your pet needs — walks, feeding, playtime, medication, litter scooping, companionship, and more. You tell us how to use the time, and we follow your care instructions exactly.

You may schedule as many visits per day as needed.

Two-Hour Arrival Windows

All services are scheduled within two-hour arrival windows.

Our earliest window is 6–8 AM.
Our latest window is 9–11 PM.

We offer multiple window options between those times, seven days a week — including holidays.

While arrival windows are fixed, everything else about your service is customizable to your needs.

Lockbox Requirement

Because we operate as a team, a lockbox with a working spare key is required before services begin.

Garage codes, keypad entry, and one-off key exchanges are accepted under the condition that they are 110% reliable.

Reliable team access through the use of lockboxes ensures consistent care every time.

Vaccination Records

All pets must be up to date on vaccinations. Please have records available to confirm during onboarding.

We look forward to connecting with you and building a care plan that supports both you and your pets 🐾💜
