I heard about the company´s great work through a client and personal friend. She raved about the excellent care her dog receives as well as the employees. I have always loved animals of all kinds, especially dogs and cats. I am looking for ways to stay busy, make extra money and do something fun and meaningful.

What's your experience working with pets?

I have had pets almost my entire life. As an adult, I have had at least 1 dog and 1 cat for the last 25 years. Throughout that time I have had many daily-life experiences with pets as well as emergency situations. I have fostered dogs, cats and rabbits throughout the years. I have gone through intensive and less intensive dog training with my dogs. I have cat and dog sat for friends and family members.

What special pet care skills do you have?

I am not sure I have any special pet skills, but animals generally like me and I tend to like them better than some humans. I am comfortable around all kinds of animals and enjoy their company. I believe that taking care of animals is an honor and privilege.

Share a recent experience in pet care that you’re really proud of.

My dog gets really excited when she sees other dogs while out on a walk. I was able to keep her focused on our walk the other day by using her commands. She stayed focused on me and what we were doing instead of trying to get to the other dog.

What do you hope to do for the pet parents at Hands N Paws?

I hope to provide peace of mind for the pet parents at Hands N Paws. I hope that I can help them to know that even though they cannot be with their pet(s) in that moment, the pet(s) are being loved and taken care of by me.

Propagating houseplants, cooking, reading, exploring nature and abandoned places, anything creative, DIY projects, spending time with loved ones

I was drawn to Hands N Paws’ shared values of compassion, respect, and gratitude. Their approach being centered around bringing peace of mind to pet parents takes dog walking and pet sitting to a whole new level of care. I especially resonate with the attention to detail demonstrated across their procedures, because it’s the little things in life that make all the difference!

What's your experience working with pets?

My background includes caring for dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, small mammals, and chickens. I always ensure that they receive the love, care, and attention they need while their owners are away. I have also volunteered at a wildlife rehabilitation center which involved feeding rats to birds of prey, foxes, possums, skunks, and more. I have a soft spot for senior animals who may need a little extra TLC and attention. I make sure my own cat, Spice, has all of her needs met so that she can feel energized and safe to express her playful, sassy self. I also love spending time with my sister’s two dogs, Kali and Sunny, who understand that ball is life and love a good nature hike!

Have any special pet care skills?

I am interested in animal behavioral science, in order to better understand how they communicate in different ways. I am adaptable to caring for different species, breeds, circumstances and special requirements. I have foundation knowledge of pet grooming, feeding, training, and basic medication administration.

What do you hope to do for the pet parents at Hands N Paws?

I hope to be a reliable “safety blanket” for the pet parents at Hands N Paws – allowing them to find balance in their lives while freeing their minds of worry. I hope to provide clear and detailed communication in the form of compassionate journal entries and expressive photos. Whether they need to be away from home for business or pleasure, Hands N Paws takes one major concern off of their plates – how to care for their furry companions. I am so excited to help contribute to this much-needed service!

Outside of being an avid animal lover, I really like the structure and organization of Hands N Paws as a company. I’m excited to be a part of a great team!

What's your experience working with pets?

I grew up with various pets (large and small dogs, cats, birds, small animals, etc.) I worked for a dog boarding facility and helped care for the animals, I worked in a veterinary clinic, I’ve worked for another local dog walking company, and also have a few regular clients that I board on Rover!

What special pet care skills do you have?

My chihuahua, Tinkerbell, sadly passed away last year, but she had progressive kidney disease, arthritis, blindness, epilepsy as well as neurological issues which required a special level of care. For the last few years of her life, I had to medicate her twice a day, feed her a special diet, assist her with her mobility issues and make sure she was comfortable and happy in her environment. I am comfortable medicating animals, I know how to handle a seizure and I know how delicate to be with senior dogs that need an extra level of care.

Share a recent experience in pet care that you’re really proud of.

An owner of one of my cat clients on Rover came into a situation where they had to rehome their cat. They trusted me and asked if I’d be willing to take him in – which I happily accepted! I found out after adopting him and getting his vet paperwork that we share the same birthday! I took that as a sign it was meant to be 😊 I lost my dog a couple of weeks after and he was a huge source of comfort during that time. Thankful to have him!

What do you hope to do for the pet parents at Hands N Paws?

I hope to provide the pet parents comfort and security in knowing that their pets will always be treated with respect and have as much fun as possible while in my care!

Why do you work at Hands N Paws?

From working here the rst time it has been one of my favorite jobs. I missed it all the time. I have recommended it to so many people in the area. Working for a place where they value you and your time is very hard to find but I found that with Hands N Paws. Everyone on the team was hard working and was there for one another. Which is what you need in a good work environment and Hands N Paws will always give you that.

What's your experience working with pets?

I have worked with pets since high school. I have worked at a couple doggy daycares and have dog watched for people on the side. I also have almost two years of experience in dog grooming as well! Which has shown me more on dogs body language and how they act.

Have any special pet care skills?

Working at doggy daycares has shown me how to properly break up dog fights before they get worse. Grooming and daycares have both shown me different body languages to keep myself safe when a dog is showing signs of fear or stress.

I hope to show that their pets are being taken care of and safe in my hands.

Emergency Care Policy
You’re responsible for providing emergency instructions and medical details for your pet. Otherwise, we’ll contact your vet or an emergency clinic in case of an emergency. Team Members may make urgent care decisions (excluding euthanasia) if immediate action is needed. You’re responsible for any veterinary costs, and Hands N Paws isn’t liable for circumstances beyond our control.

Home Access Policy
A lockbox with a spare key is required to ensure we can access your home. Garage or keypad codes are okay but don’t replace the need for a lockbox. Provide clear access instructions in your account notes. If entry is complicated, email us a video walkthrough to avoid delays. Our priority is your pets, not troubleshooting access!

Cancellation Policy
We get it—plans change! Here’s our policy:
– 48+ hours notice: 100% refund as Account Credit.
– 24-48 hours notice: 50% refund as Account Credit.
– Less than 24 hours: No refund.
Refunds are issued as Account Credits and auto-apply to your next invoice.

Safe & Sanitary Environment
You understand and agree that the environment in which we provide services is reasonably sanitary and safe. If we determine that your home is unsanitary or unsafe, we’ll let you know and take appropriate action, which may include stopping services.

Service Termination Policy
In rare cases, if we believe there’s a serious danger to the health or safety of our Team Members or your pets, we may terminate services during a scheduled period. If this happens, you agree to cover the cost of boarding your pet or arranging alternative care until you return. We’ll do our best to notify you and/or your emergency contacts in these situations.

Third-Party Access Policy
You’re responsible for letting us know if anyone else will have access to your home during the scheduled services. Hands N Paws is not liable for any loss, expense, or damage caused by third parties entering your home during this time.

Vaccination, Licensing & ID Policy
Before services begin, all pets MUST:
– Be up-to-date on vaccinations and local licensing.
– Wear an ID tag with your contact info or be microchipped for identification.

Pet Safety Policy
For everyone’s safety, dogs must remain leashed during walks. Off-leash walks are strictly prohibited.

Accurate Pet Information Policy
Keep your pet’s info in your account accurate and up-to-date. Every three months, you’ll be prompted to review and confirm your pet’s details before being able to request services. Hands N Paws isn’t responsible for issues caused by outdated or incorrect information.

Provide Visuals Policy
For complex routines or home entry instructions, please record a video and email it to us. A visual guide helps us better understand your needs and ensures smooth service delivery.

Flexible Arrival Times
Services are scheduled within a two-hour arrival window to accommodate travel and other clients. While we’ll do our best to meet your preferred times, exact arrival times can’t be guaranteed.

Trial Visits
For extended pet care (e.g., vacation services), we require a Trial Visit while you’re still in town. This helps ensure your pet is comfortable with our team before committing to long-term care.

Service Request Approval & Availability
We do our best to accommodate all requests, but approval depends on Team Member availability. After submitting a request, you’ll receive an email confirmation or declination within 48 hours. If declined, we’ll work with you to explore alternatives.

Communication Policy
Team Members will update you on your pet’s care through post-service journal entries in your account. If they have urgent questions during a service, they’ll call you using the number on file. If you receive a Team Member’s personal number, please don’t use it freely. Keep all communication in your account by responding to journals, updating service notes, or, if needed, contact our main office.

Team Appreciation
Our Team Members work hard to care for your pets, and a little appreciation goes a long way! Feel free to leave kind journal comments, rate services, or tip for exceptional care. It means the world to us!

A Meet N Greet is required before starting services to ensure we understand your pet’s needs and provide the best care. New Clients can schedule at *www.myhandsnpaws.com*; Existing Clients can book through their account.

Pricing & Surcharges
Visit *www.myhandsnpaws.com* for the most up-to-date pricing. Additional fees may apply in certain situations:
– Last-Minute Services: $15 for requests made within 24 hours.
– Holiday Services: $20 per service on major holidays.
– Additional Pets: $7 per pet beyond the first two.
– Service Adjustments: Fees may apply if additional time or tasks are required.
– Account Assistance Fee: If you request us to schedule services, cancel services, update pet notes, or otherwise manage your account without first attempting to do so yourself, a surcharge of 10% of your most recent invoice (minimum $25) will be applied. Our handy Client Support Center is available to guide you step-by-step in managing your account.

Payment & Billing
We accept all major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover). A valid card must be stored securely in your account.
– Ongoing Services: Auto-charged every Friday for the previous week’s services.
– One-Time Services: 50% deposit charged upon confirmation; the rest is due by the last service date (auto-charged).
– Declined Payments: You’ll be notified immediately and have 24 hours to resolve it. A 10% late fee (minimum $20) applies after a second declined attempt.

This agreement starts when you sign it and continues until either of us ends it. You can book additional services online anytime, depending on availability. By signing, you authorize Hands N Paws to enter your home and care for your pets without needing extra contracts for confirmed bookings.
